Distilled by Alberto Ortiz using agave Madrecuixe, this bottling comes to us from Yuu Baal from batch YJ15016. Let's dive on in.
Ripe fruit, pine, cedar, glue and mango. All over the place, lots going on, and some uniqueness, for sure. The glue note is sort of fun and weird.
A bit hot, but rich and full of pepper, sweet cream, a crisp rainwater note. Light vegetation, some more of that chemical glue note, though it's not offputting. Bright and crisp.
Long ashy finish with tons of mango, cream, citrus zest and a hint of minerality.
Honestly, Yuu Baal is the definition of a hit or miss bottler given the state of their pechuga, but this is a bright, fun, crisp fruity adventure that manages to also remain quite unique.
