Produced in Capilla de Guadalipe, this unaged tequila is produced on copper stills and bottled at 40% ABV. Puntagave all hit at the same time here, with expressions like their mezcal, raicilla, sotol and baconora all hitting alonside this tequila. Let's see how it is.
Super sweet and creamy. Light ethanol presence. Some agave here but mostly caramel and agave syrup.
Thin mouth feel. Some heat. Not a lot going on - pepper, light caramel, burning plastic.
Short but hot. Some agave, mostly sweetness and a dash of smoke.
Not a fan overall. It’s not bad, but it lives in a bracket among much better players.
