Distilled by Javier Nolasco Y Rafael Mendez in San Luis Del Rio, this Espadin hails from Edition 43, produced in 2018. Batch code RMCES100419NS. Let's dive in.

Nose:
Sweet honey, floral and perfume forward. Lavender, rose, sweet fruit notes, faint earthiness.

Taste:
Medium mouth feel with a faint pang of heat. Sweet cream, lots of strawberry, dirty clay and a little bit of agave stank. Heat is tamed overall, the minerality and soul note is very nice. Faint chemical note.

Finish:
Long and sweet, though the sweetness is fleeting. Nice earthy smoke, some crushed stone and lemon.

Overall:
Really interesting, lots going on, with some graceful transitions throughout. Very nice.
