Distilled on a clay philipino style still in Guerrero, this bottlings is Margarito's base to the pechuga covered previously, distileld from cupreata (chino). Produced by Margarito Lopez Flores for Maguey Melate in 2020.
Bright, floral, fruity, vegetal. Exuberant and inviting. Whew.
Sweet cream, vanilla, lemon and lime zest. Spot of clay. Faint melon. Delightful and complex.
Long finish, smoky at times with a lovely mineralogy component.
I love this, perhaps more than the Pechuga version of this bottling. I’m thankful for the comparison and the fruit, citrus and sweetness here are lovely.
