Distilled by "Don Goyo" Martinez Garcia using Tepextate, this bottling by Maguey Melate should be quite the treat. This was distilled on copper, and bottled at 48.9% ABV. Let's dive in.
Bright, crisp, fruity. Lovely chemical quality, cotton candy, bell pepper, some jalapeno. Fun garlic note that gives way to bright fruits and some smoke.
Powerful vegetal quality, some smoke and minerality. Sweet candy, fruits, a hint of cream, and confectioners sugar. Lovely in all the right ways.
Long finish, loaded with fruits, a hint of jalapeno and tons of creamy sweetness. A hint of cocoa, perhaps, with some minerality and lovely complexity.
Really great offering here, showing the sweet, complex, creamy side of Tep that drives me wild. Yum.
