Distilled on copper in Puebla, this ensamble featuring Espadilla and Tobala was produced by Federico Valentin Alva Ibanez for Maguey Melate.
Really fresh and crisp. Fresh cut grass, hay, corn, a hint of barn yard. Fresh zesty citrus and a hint of rain water. Cedar and pine.
Medium mouth feel. Dry and mineral forward, with some straw and grass playing with a hit of pepper and clay on the palate. Dry, mineral forward, a bit of ash.
Long finish, ashy and earthy. The crispness of the palate is lost, though its still tasty.
Beautiful and complex on the nose, but a bit one notes on the back palate and finish. Really quite nice, but cant reach as high as some other favorites.
