Cotton candy, blueberries, sweet mango. Hint of bubblegum and perfume. Interesting and sweet, enticing but unique. This doesn’t scream Tobala to me, but it does scream delicious.
Powerful and complex on the palate. Sweet cream, blueberries and raspberry, some cotton candy and light ash. Faint bubble gum note, here along with some banana. Light mineral smoke and some pepper.
Long, ashy and sweet. Plantain, honey, blueberry and fresh cracked pepper. Really nice finish that transitions elegantly from the palate.
I’m a really big fan of this Tobala. It’s excellent when you consider the complexity, enticing fruit character and competent balance between sweet and smoky. Well done.
