Distilled by Emilio Vieyra on copper in Michoacan, this uses a fairly unique agave: Agave Alto. This is from Lot 18 and was bottled in November of 2015. Lets dive in.
Ripe, fruity, faintly savory. Lemon, sweet and buttery, some pepper.
Light tobacco note, faint wood ash. Tons going on, great balance. Rich mouth feel, bit of sweetness. Proof feels really well placed, warm on the palate but just right.
Lovely long finish, sweet with mango, pepper, a hint of roasty agave.
Really complex, well done. Big fan of this expression, and its a really great companion to sit with for a while to take it all in.
