This is a reposado tequila distilled from Blue Weber Agave and aged in Blanton's Bourbon Barrels. I've had several Corazon, but reviewed none, so this is long overdue. Let's get to it.
Sweet vanilla, honey, cream. Faint agave character, some pepper and papaya. Pretty bourbony with a hint of tequila character.
Thin on the palate, sweet cream and agave with pepper and a faint bitterness. Really interesting, especially how much pepper and mineral bitterness there is. ABV feels alright, still thin but not drinking hot at all, so thats nice.
Short, sweet and oaky, fairly one noted here. Not a ton going on, and a hint of that bitterness remains.
Overall, not bad, but it isnt performing very well, and there is far better reposado in this price range if you can get over the Buffalo Trace appeal.
